Where card payments stand
  • In development, not live yet: taking card payments at the booth with the reader, and guests paying by QR code on their phone.
  • Not available yet: card payments with no venue internet. Stripe's reader can store payments and send them when the connection returns, but the booth software does not connect to it that way yet.
  • Ask us where things stand before you order the reader, router, dock or cable.

Gives the booth PC and the reader a private local network of their own. Offline card payments, when they arrive, will need the reader and the booth on one local network. They are not available yet: card payments will need the venue's internet at first.
